Children from a slum are looked down
upon by the rest of society. Some think it's a waste of time to even
educate them because they are seen as having no future. Most children from the slum drop out
of the local school at or before the 6th level. Young girls and boys in the slum are
easy prey for sexual predators and are often caught in abusive
situations with no way of escape. Some very high risk children would be
forced into prostitution or slave labor situations if it were not for
organizations willing to rescue them.

Grace Life Ministries has a daily feeding and educational program for 30 to 40 children in the slum. Another 30 boys and girls who are high risk have been taken out the slum and are being sheltered in our 2 homes in a suburb of Visakhapatnam. These children require $70 per month for support and many have one or more sponsors. However there are never enough sponsors and more are needed to provide additional facilities and resources to take in the many more children waiting for rescue

And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little
ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly
not lose his reward." Mathew 10:42
The price of one cup of coffee per day can rescue a child in India. The little we sacrifice can make a huge impact in the lives of these little ones. It`s an investment with enormous returns.
