October 2011 update

Lorri Frandsen has just published her book. PUSHPA UNVEILED.It has been 2 years in the making and it is exciting to be able to offer this book to the public at long last. Although a work of fiction, it resembles the lives of many little "Pushpas" in India who struggle against the overwhelming odds of poverty and exploitation. Lorri chose the graphic novel format to better enable the reader to envision the realities of India. It's easy to read, with an uplifting message of hope and victory through Jesus Christ.
The reader will fall in love with the character of Pushpa and will likely get angry, laugh and cry. We feel it is an important book for understanding where the children we rescue come from and we are making it required reading for volunteers from the west who seek to visit and help with the ministry. Pushpa Unveiled is a graphic novel of 368 pages (illustrated in black and white). We are making it available for $15 plus 5% HST, plus shipping (in Canada this is $11-$15 and in USA it is $21-$24.)

Hello Friends!
It's been some time since we sent our last e-news.
Pastor Varun and John Edwin were able to make a trip into Orissa to meet with our pastors and they had a good time of encouragement. The pastors are spiritually hungry and they requested bi monthly visits because they work in a very hard field and these times of sharing ministry and corporate prayer are very necessary for these warriors of the faith. Each meeting costs about $500-600 as we provide for their travel, accommodation, meals, and a clothing gift for each one. The ministry also provides ministry tools, medical help and education support for the children of the very poor pastors. Reports are that churches are growing, believers are increasing, and in some areas more churches are being planted. We had 11 new pastors who wish to join our fellowship, so that is encouraging. What we see here is a serious miracle since just 3 years ago all our pastors faced intense persecution and their lives were in danger. (When we accept new pastors we will make sponsorship of them available.) Continuing along with this is our encouragement in the women's self-help groups to help break poverty in this very poor state. Please pray for many more trips into Orissa for our ministry and that God would use these warriors mightily!
In Visakhapatnam the children's homes are running well. We are preparing to take in abandoned babies, with crib building, painting, and getting the home ready. We will need new staff as babies require 24/7 care. We hope to train some of the older girls. Lorri and Kell will have to be there to oversee this.
Kell and Varun met with several aftercare ministries in Kolkata and there are doors open for involvement in Mizoram. Project Rescue Nepal is requesting our involvement in Hospice care facilities for girls dying of AIDS. Kell and Lorri wish to visit all these areas so we can co-ordinate support and involvement. Aftercare is extremely important for the full rescue of these girls.
Sean and Dayna Frandsen and the Supply Line team have had ministry opportunities in Vancouver to promote awareness.
We have many many plans and ideas that can only be followed up in India. Kell and Lorri are needed to organize all this properly.
They are waiting on the Lord to make the move to India. Please pray for their financial support, the final sale of their business, travel arrangements, and lots of health and strength. They plan to move to India so they will need favor in obtaining long term visas (which will require a bit of a miracle since these are difficult to obtain). It is also very important for doors to open for Kell to itinerate here in Canda. Taking India for Christ and large scale rescue work is a very large vision and many of God's people will need to come on board. We will be stepping on some ‘big toes’ in the spirit realm. Please pray that God would remove all obstacles and get Kell and Lorri to India quickly. Also we have teams desiring to visit the work and there are many blockages that we feel can be overcome by prayer. Another matter of concern is the physical health of Kell and Lorri’s daughter, Loralie. They will need to know she is well taken care of before departure to India.
Yes, all of these things are mountains, but God encourages the church to pray (John 14: 12-14). Jesus told His disciples that He was going to be with the Father but He was sending the Holy Spirit and they (including all of us) would do greater things on the earth than He did. I believe God hears the cries of countless unprotected babies, the cries of 400 million orphans in our world today, the torment of 40 million girls caught in the sex slave trade, and the billion Indians crying for reality with nowhere to look but to gods that don't exist. I believe He wants to do many miracles for them. So let us pray for these ‘greater things’ Jesus said we would do. We have His spirit and His promises. He is the God of miracles. Let’s pray.
